Bubble Hotel Zuckeralp
The Bubble Tent on the Zuckeralp is located in the heart of the Emmental – at an altitude of around 1100 meters, surrounded by rolling hills, vast pastures and an impressive view as far as the Jura mountain range. Here, the two of you can enjoy a break full of peace, closeness to nature and far-reaching views, far away from everyday life.
The lovingly run farm is home to cows and their calves, a friendly farm dog and three cats, which create a warm, family atmosphere. Your pitch offers an unobstructed view over the valley – with a bit of luck, you might even catch a spectacular sunset.
The Zuckeralp is the perfect starting point for hikes, bike tours and culinary stops in the surrounding alpine restaurants, where regional specialties await you. A modern sanitary container with shower, toilet and washbasin is available on site. There are also chilled drinks and simple barbecue products – ideal for a cozy evening in the open air.

Was für ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Wir waren 2 Nächte dort. Es war zwar etwas bewölkt und die Sterne kamen nur vereinzelt zum Vorschein. Aber es ist ein sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Bubble Tent mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien mitten in der Natur. Sehr idyllisch!

Booking & confirmation
As soon as you have made your booking, you will receive an email with all the details for your arrival.
Arrival
You can arrive from 4 pm. If you arrive later than 8 pm, please contact the host. You will find the contact details in the booking portal, which you will receive access to after booking.
Self-check-in
Check-in at the Bubble Hotel Zuckeralp is by key box. You will receive the code directly after your booking. If something does not work on site, you can contact the host at any time
Departure
Check-out must take place by 11 am. Please leave the Bubble Tent clean, put the garbage in the garbage bag provided and ensure that everything is left tidy.

In the barn on site you will find wood for the barbecue, which you can use for a small fee - there are also various meat products and drinks in the fridge, which are also available for a fee.

How does the Bubble Tent Zuckeralp work?
The bubble is air-supported and has an airlock entrance. A gentle flow of air maintains the shape and provides fresh air.
Do I have complete privacy?
There is a campsite on the Zuckeralp, which is why campers can stay on the property; however, the bubble tent pitch is around 500 meters away and remains pleasantly quiet
Is the bubble heated and pleasantly warm even on cool nights?
Yes, it is heated and you have electric blankets so that you can sleep comfortably even on cooler days.
How private is it on site?
From April, there will be a semi-transparent bubble tent on the Zuckeralp, offering excellent privacy. Nevertheless, you have a panoramic view and a view of the sky.
Where are the toilet and shower?
Shared toilet and shower with hot water are just a few steps away from the Bubble Tent.
Can children come along and is there an extra bed?
The bubble is designed for two adults + child. However, there is no possibility for an extra bed.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed.
Are there catering or vegan/vegetarian options?
Food is not included. Bring what you like and don't forget to bring drinking water.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, you should. But bear in mind that there is no kitchen and no fridge.
What ways of payment do you accept?
You can pay online with PayPal, credit card, voucher, Klarna or in advance.
Cancellation or rebooking - what is possible?
You can cancel free of charge up to 10 days before your arrival. The exact regulations depend on the tariff and general terms and conditions.
How long is my voucher valid for?
The validity is stated on the voucher and in your order confirmation.
What does the Romantic Upgrade (also non-alcoholic) offer?
The romantic upgrade includes a bottle of sparkling wine and beautiful torches around the Bubble Hotel. If you would like non-alcoholic wine, please ask on site.
Are there extras such as flowers or decorations?
Yes, subject to availability. Indicate your request when booking and we will discuss it with the host.
Is the Zuckeralp suitable for honeymoons or birthdays?
Yes, the bubble is ideal for special occasions. Please let us know the occasion in the comments field when booking.
Can I give an overnight stay in the Bubble as a gift?
Yes, this is possible with a voucher or as a direct booking to the person receiving the gift.
What about staying in the rain or storm?
We monitor the weather and inform you in the event of impending storms.
Is there an emergency contact?
Yes, you will receive the contact details with the arrival information. The host can be contacted.
How often do you clean?
The bubble will be cleaned before you check in. The sanitary areas will of course be kept clean.
Is there a fireplace and are barbecues allowed?
Right next to the Bubble Tent you will find your own fireplace with barbecue facilities
